Standard private medical appointments
The following private medicals are usually booked as a 45-minute appointment.

DVLA Medical
A medical assessment and completion of the relevant DVLA form, usually required for certain driving licence applications or renewals.
Taxi Medical
A medical assessment required by some licensing authorities for taxi or private hire drivers.
Fit to Fly Medical
A medical assessment or form completion for patients who have been asked to confirm they are fit to travel by air.
Camping / Activity Medical
A medical form or assessment required by some camps, activity providers, schools, clubs or organised trips.
Aviation Medical Forms
Completion of aviation-related medical forms where appropriate. Some aviation medicals may need to be completed by a specialist aviation medical examiner.
Housing Medical Assessment
A medical assessment or supporting information for housing applications, housing transfers or medical priority requests.

Fostering Medical Assessment
Fostering medical assessments are more detailed and usually require a longer appointment than the standard private medicals listed above.
A fostering medical assessment is usually required as part of the fostering application process and involves reviewing relevant medical information and completing the fostering agency’s medical form.
Important information before your appointment
Please bring the relevant form or paperwork with you to your appointment.
Your form or paperwork
Bring the form issued by the employer, licensing authority, travel provider, housing organisation or other agency requesting the medical.
Photographic ID
Please bring photographic identification with you so we can confirm your identity before the assessment.
Relevant medical information
Such as medication details, glasses or contact lenses, or any information requested by the organisation asking for the medical.
- Please note: we may not be able to complete the medical assessment without the correct documentation. If the appointment cannot go ahead because the required form or paperwork has not been provided, the appointment may still be chargeable.
